Together with 9 international cities of the Media Arts Cluster of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the cultural office of the city of Karlsruhe had invited to apply with project proposals. Media artists from all over the world responded to the call.

Light Art Installation Kaskade

The light art installation Kaskade was designed by the light artist Rainer Kehres specifically for the façade of the Town Hall to mark Karlsruhe becoming a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts.

The UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts Viborg invites the world to sharpen its pencils and draw for children affected by Covid-19 across the world.
