The audiovisual installation LIMBO is a one-shot-trip through experiences of landscapes in digital and abstract space. By means of fluctuating between micro and macro perspectives, the artwork addresses the relationship between humans, nature, and the Earth. The stylistic usage of extremely long shots points out that environmental changes are often not easy to perceive but they are ongoing and virtually irreversible. These images are also a complete contrast to the rapid images we experience daily when in contact with digital media. Designed as a large format projection that extends over the corner of a shop window, its visual layers plus the explorations of binaural beats and specific frequencies merge together in an experience that, for the viewers, is physical.
