The video Code of Colors makes programmed code visible. An algorithm repeatedly generates new amounts of data, which are translated into variously colored moving forms. Each generated form and each of its movements is new and unique, so the colorful blobs emerge from the confusing »chaos« of the code, move across the screen, deform, follow different movement patterns, and finally evaporate into a cloud of color, leaving a white background behind. Many of these sequences were generated in real time and recorded on a computer. As a result, a selection is made from the infinite possibilities for generated colors, forms, and interactions that are lined up in Code of Colors in a constantly changing sequence.
