VOLNA

Founded in 2016 by Nikita Golyshev and Snezhana Vinogradova, VOLNA is a collaborative art studio based in Karlsruhe since 2022. Working at the intersection of light art, architecture, and time-based media, VOLNA creates site-specific interventions, scenographies, immersive light environments, and kinetic works. At the core of its artistic practice lies the question of how technologies can transform and reshape spatial perception and collective experience.
VOLNA was Artist-in-Residence at the ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe in 2023.
