Gerardo Nolasco-Rózsás

Gerardo Nolasco-Rózsás (*1975) is an artist, researcher and independent publisher, born in Mexico City, works and lives in Karlsruhe. He uses a variety of media in his artistic practice, from painting, through machine learning to sound. Gerardo studied at San Carlos Academy and Universidad del Nuevo Mundo in Mexico City. He has taught and given seminars in different institutions, including at the UNAM (Mexico City), University of Art (Puebla, Mexico), Hochschule für Gestaltung, and Staatliche Akademie in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Gerardo Nolasco-Rózsás has exhibited at a number of art institutions and galleries in Mexico and abroad. This list includes; Centro Cultural de Arte Contemporáneo and the Rufino Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, the Kunsthalle Budapest in Hungary, the Kunsthalle Basel in Switzerland, ZKM in Karlsruhe, Art Science Exhibits at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, and in Palazzo Albrizzi, a parallel exhibition to the 58th Venice Biennale in Venice.
