Media Art is universal – it stands for social and technological innovation, for creativity, connectivity, interdisciplinarity, and brings art and science together in manifols ways.

A considerable number of artists live and work in Karlsruhe whose media art productions feature in festivals, exhibitions, and projects. UNESCO Creative Cities Network

Joining the UNESCO Creative Cities Network gives Karlsruhe and the city’s interest groups the opportunity to make new contacts, give new impulses and establish new connections to organizations and artists in the UNESCO Creative Cities on all continents.
