Three states that appear unagitated but still have an effect on the viewer. The beauty of the sea is shown in three different states, one in a cloudy sky under which a boat goes fishing. The second is the sea during a storm. And thirdly, the glittering sea on a summer night with a full moon. The scenario, which appears so unagitated, nevertheless triggers subtle feelings in us and leaves behind sometimes sensual, sometimes threatening, sometimes moving impressions. The work was inspired by the work of avant-garde filmmaker James Bennings, whose work intensively explores the landscape in various states.
