Thirsty trees announce the summer of 2030. The rain carries away messages that could be addressed to us. Children marvel at the sight of the desert. The flowing disappearance goes unheard – and the fire swells unseen.

A video collage that deals with an element that most take for granted as a resource: Our water. A sound collage that makes audible the ultrasonic sounds of trees withering to express its discomfort that its message goes unheard, combines with images of landscapes shaped by water and shaped by its absence. The future speaks to us in letters, describing our daily lives in the coming drought.
