Our City features a multimedia smartphone app that enables the public to participate in the creation of art. Wherever you are in Karlsruhe, the app, programmed by Alexander Liebrich and Marco Zampella, allows you to participate in the audiovisual presentation on the facade of the Turmberg in Karlsruhe-Durlach after dusk. Regardless of the users’ location, the work enables them to become part of a creative process via digital interfaces, being creative together with other users, while helping to shape Our City.
Our City was funded within the framework of the project support program for media art of the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe 2020.
