le taxi pour l’ avenir heureux brings the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to life in an exciting way. The project combines video projections on Karlsruhe Palace with augmented reality exhibitions at the ZKM, the Tourist Info, at Schlossplatz, and the dm store at Europaplatz.

Using artificial intelligence, the 17 SDGs are interpreted in a visually captivating manner and projected onto the 170-meter-long facade of the palace. Abstract, symbolic, and dreamlike images emerge, inviting reflection. Dynamic animations, vibrant colours, and poetic transitions create an immersive and striking experience. The 17 goals appear in a surreal “hidden object” style that blurs the line between reality and fantasy.

Complementing the projection at Karlsruhe Palace, an AR- exhibition invites visitors to explore the 17 SDGs in greater depth. Expanding on the surreal and symbolic imagery of the projection, the exhibition presents detailed information, background stories, and visual interpretations of each goal.

Through a combination of poetic visuals, informative displays, and artistic interventions, visitors are invited to reflect on global challenges and the paths toward a more just and sustainable future. The
exhibition transforms aesthetic experience into knowledge and awareness — making the SDGs tangible, personal, and engaging.

Winner of the dm Award connecting worlds.
