The UCCN Annual Conference constitutes a unique platform for exchange, bringing together Creative Cities worldwide to foster culture and creativity enabled solutions, in order to tackle contemporary urban challenges.

Under the topic “Sharing cities”, UNESCO and the city of Querétaro will invite Creative Cities from around the globe to explore the power of creative solutions to address the multifaceted urban issues and opportunities, emphasising how nurturing a culture of sharing resources, knowledge and experiences can help cities harness the potential of local community-building.

This year, the UCCN Annual Conference will take place in the Creative City of Media Arts Braga. From 1 to 5 July, Braga aims to nurture international collaborations among young people. Under the theme “Bringing Youth to the Table for the Next Decade”, the Conference will provide member cities with a platform to share knowledge, experiences and good practices towards building the sustainable cities of tomorrow with a focus on youth participation.
