studio hö

studio hö is a production and exhibition space for media art and photography created by the Hoepfner Foundation in collaboration with the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe Office. Located in the heart of Karlsruhe, it creates a place where creative processes can be seen and experienced at the interface between urban life and artistic creation. With its unique architecture and the support of the Hoepfner Foundation, studio hö is a showcase for media art.

Innovative, collaborative media art projects by freelance artists from Karlsruhe and the surrounding region are sought for a six-month media art scholarship, which includes a workspace and exhibition space at studio hö.

Imaginat

In the interactive exhibition Imaginat, visitors create their own compositions using analogue materials, which are transformed by AI into fascinating river images and projected live onto the wall.

In the interactive installation by Chiharu Koda and Sierk Schmalzriedt, vibrating water bowls generate striking patterns that will be activated live during the opening on June 26 at studio hö – a composition of frequency, resonance, and image.
