Yulia Mashkova is a multidisciplinary artist and conceptual spatial designer based in Serbia. Her practice explores the relationship between identity and surroundings through abstract painting, bio-sculptures, and video performance. Using materials from her surroundings, she addresses themes of migration, adaptation, and fragile habitation. In collaboration with photographer, composer, and media artist Grisha Mumrikov, they build a bridge between the tactile and the digital; through collective action and shared sensory experiences, they create spaces of empathy.
