Vera Gärtner is a scenographer questioning her immediate environment through site-specific installations, critical mappings, spatial mixtapes, activist walks and anti-hierarchical conference architectures. Her focus lies on visualising and overwriting patriarchal structures within urban spaces and commemorative culture. During her studies at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG), she was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung and then received the Kulturstipendium of the city of Karlsruhe for her compilative diploma project ffountain. Since 2023, she works as an Artistic Assistant for Exhibition Design and Scenography at the HfG.
