Nic Eßer ( born 1996) develops generative audiovisual works. He is currently studying media art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. His creative process is inspired by phenomena in the physical world, the observation of which often serves as a starting point for the exploration of digital spaces. The focus in his work lies on sensory experience – through immersive experiences, he invites people to develop new perspectives on specific topics.
Under the pseudonym ‘Planar’, he produces contemporary electronic music, which he performs live and sometimes records, or incorporates into other projects.
