Isabelle Konrad

Isabelle Konrad (born 1998, Weißenhorn) is a media artist and filmmaker. Her work explores how power relations shape bodies, behavior, and identity.
She studied media art at HfG Karlsruhe and is co-founder of Lichtspielsauna e.V.
Her film installation “It’s Okay Now” was shown at ZKM, ABA Berlin, and BBK Karlsruhe. Other works have been exhibited at Kunsthalle Mannheim and Galerie Tobias Schrade, among others. She is currently developing “FURIE”, an atlas of female rage. Her film work includes “Paranoia” and “Purpur”, awarded “Best Women Film Maker” at the Boden International Film Festival. She lives and works in Karlsruhe.
