Chiharu Koda and Sierk Schmalzriedt (Studio Fluffy) present their interactive installation in the exhibition Substance: a display of water bowls set into vibration through precise frequency modulation, creating fascinating patterns on the surface of the water.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, June 26 at 7 p.m. During the opening, artists from the Karlsruhe live-coding group Toplap Karlsruhe will respond to these vibrations and perform live on the installation. In this way, Substance transforms into a flowing concert of sound, image, and resonance. An evening that shows: everything begins with a wave.
