“If you’ve always wanted to build something specific or create a work of art, but you never had the technical resources or the community to do it, then you’ve come to the right place!”
This is the slogan by which the FabLab Karlsruhe e.V. association runs an open workshop. With modern production techniques such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling and other great machines, one can implement own ideas in the association. Also conventional tools can be found in the FabLab, in other words. There’s everything one needs to accomplish creative, innovative or crazy projects.
Members can use the workshop space several days a week and take part in courses on various topics. To non-members, an OpenLab Day is offered once a month. On these days one can bring along own projects and get help from club members as far as possible.
Generally, visitors are always welcome to drop by spontaneously during opening hours!
