On Friday, February 6, 2026, Kunstrauschen once again invites visitors to explore the full diversity of Karlsruhe’s independent art scene, from 5 to 11 p.m. Taking place in parallel with art karlsruhe, 20 off-spaces and project spaces will open their doors, offering a distinctive insight into contemporary art beyond the mainstream.
From backyard workshops and private apartments to artists’ studios and former industrial halls, the participating venues present a multifaceted view of contemporary art outside established institutions. Visitors will not only encounter the artworks themselves, but also meet the artists in person, gaining direct insight into artistic processes and perspectives. As an invitation to dialogue and exchange, Kunstrauschen creates—alongside art karlsruhe—a layered perspective on Karlsruhe’s creative energy, which defines the city as a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts.
In addition to public transportation, a shuttle bus will operate on the evening of Kunstrauschen from 7 to 10 p.m., connecting the AHOI studios and Nordbecken via the Rheinhafen stop.
