Since 2013, MFG Baden-Württemberg has organized a state and joint pavilion in the Business Area of Gamescom in Cologne. In 2025, the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe will be represented there for the first time, together with the K³ Office and the ZKM | Center for Art and Media. Participating companies and institutions will showcase current developments and establish connections with the international games industry. Representing Karlsruhe will be the game studios PONG.Li and kr3m. media.
The state pavilion is organized by MFG Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with Baden-Württemberg International (BW_i), supported by the City of Karlsruhe through the K³ Karlsruhe Cultural and Creative Industries Office, UNESCO City of Media Arts, and the ZKM | Center for Art and Media. It is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg.
