Stefan Lotze (b. 1986) is a lighting designer and light artist. He studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and founded his studio teilchenwelle in 2019. His work focuses on light-art installations with a spatial and architectural reference, as well as conceptual lighting design. Since 2023, he has been a member of the studio collective Atelier B2 at the Alter Schlachthof in Karlsruhe.
His works have been presented, among others, at Luminale Frankfurt and at Kunstverein Böblingen. In 2024, he was awarded the German Lighting Design Award for his lighting installation in Zwingerpark Offenburg.
