Desirée Eppele, born in Bühl in 1990, is a versatile artist from Karlsruhe. As a master student of Prof. Franz Ackermann, she graduated from the AdBK Karlsruhe in 2018 and has already received several scholarships. Her art, which has already been presented e.g. in Japan and México City, explores psychological processes and existential experiences. The solo show for the 2022 Nibelungen Festival in Worms impressed with a feminist interpretation of the Song of the Nibelungs and experiments in metal, resulting in a TV report. Rooted in painting, she fluctuates between genres and seeks reflexive, interdisciplinary approaches that aim to open up new perspectives.
