Jihye Jang was born in South Korea. From 2014 to 2018, she studied painting at Pusan University in Korea and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Since 2019, she has been studying media art in the diploma programme at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. Her focus is on interactive art, digital sound and visualisation. She draws inspiration for her work from various everyday experiences, emotions and social phenomena that she encounters in the media.
