Vera Gärtner (*1992 in Freiburg) is a scenographer who observes, questions, and re-imagines her immediate environment. This context finds working manifestation in site-specific installations, critical mappings, spatial mixtapes, activist postcards, sound walks and anti-hierarchical conference architectures amongst many other formats.
During her studies at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe (HfG), she held the scholarship of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and in 2022, the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Karlsruhe for her compilative diploma project ffountain. Since 2023, she has been an artistic associate in the Exhibition Design and Scenography department at the HfG Karlsruhe.
