From March 1, interested students can apply to the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) for the coming winter semester 2024/25.
From communication design, product design, media art, exhibition design & scenography to art research & media philosophy – what all degree programmes have in common is interdisciplinary, mostly project-based work and individual support for students. The cooperation with the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) underlines and expands this interdisciplinary orientation. In addition to its own teaching programmes, the HfG regularly awards guest professorships and teaching assignments to international artists and academics. There are also worldwide exchange programmes and partnerships with regional and international cultural institutions and universities.
Thanks to its unique teaching, research and exhibition concept, the university enables its students to think beyond their own discipline, understand interrelationships and work on complex topics, thus providing them with the best possible training for work in the fields of art, design and theory. The desired degrees are Diplom or Magister degrees, which are guaranteed to be fully Bologna-compatible and internationally recognised.
