From September 15 – 17, the third project edition of the Embrace Platform took place at the Pawilon Municipal Gallery in Poznan. Themes of the exhibition were cross-gender identities, gender equality and normalisation of non-binary identities in society. This third edition was dedicated to the visibility of women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights and freedoms as well as how alliances against oppression and disinformation can continue to work.
The nomadic platform Embrace has already brought together German and Polish artists in two previous exhibitions and offered a platform for dialogue, change and understanding in formats such as lecture performances and sound workshops and continuously expanded intercultural exchange.
Liliana Zeic, Karol Radziszewski, Charlotte Eifler, Tubi Malcharzik, Karolina Sobel, Kerstin Möller and Fiona Mcgovern took part in the third and last event of the first exhibition and event cycle in Poznan.

Founded in 2020 by Karolina Sobel and Kerstin Möller, Embrace is a platform for interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange, both on a national and international level. By bringing together diverse forms of media artistic expression, such as video, photography, sound installations, performances or workshops, the Embrace exhibition addresses issues such as gender equality and the normalisation of non-binary gender identities in Germany, Poland and Europe. The focus is on artistic exchange on the topics of LGBTQIA+ and women’s rights as well as on forms of non-violent resistance.
